At the top of the window there is the menu bar containing items used to control the application. The icon toolbar is located

just below the menu bar and contains shortcuts for commonly performed operations. The large gray area is the desktop

used to display graph information. At the bottom of the screen is the status bar used to display important messages while

the application is running.

3.2.3.1. Contacting the Logger

To contact, click on the

icon on the toolbar, or contact a JR-1000 Series by clicking Communicate on the main

menu bar and selecting Setup / Edit Logger. If a data logger is found the status window is displayed.

The following functions are found within the status window for the JR-1000 Series data logger:

Current Status Tab

Displays current logger's settings.

Backup

Downloads data from logger memory to the computer in order to display a graph.

Cancel

Closes the status window.

Help

Displays relevant help topics.

Edit Setup Tab

Modifies configurable logger parameters.

Save

Clears all readings stored in the logger as well as changes any of the logger's configurations.

Cancel

Closes the status window.

Help

Displays relevant help topics.
